Jake-R's request, FINALLY

Gotta go now guys, sorry! I'll write a more decent description later, for now suffice it to say that (a) my connection is being really, really, really naughty, that's why it wasn't uploaded sooner, and (b) yay! This is the drawing ~Jake-R requested soooo much time ago. Hope he likes it even though it was dreadfully late! ^^'

[EDIT:] As I promised, I'll try to write something a little less rushed now

- The character in the pic has often appeared in the El Goonish Shive forum, and here on deviantART, as ~Jake-R's avatar. He's a tiger with a lion's mane, I just hope I got ~Jake-R's description through with my drawing! ^^'

- His clothes are intentionally mirroring Elliot's "standard" outfit from El Goonish Shive, apart from the pants' rolled-up bottoms that I put there to make room for the digitigrade paws. Yay for paws! This was actually an idea I suggested myself, and ~Jake-R agreed to: he's known on the comic's forum as a big fan of Elliot's (as well as of his girlfriend, teh adorable Sarah), and since Elliot's outfit isn't actually too different from the kind he usually wears, we thought it could be cool ^^

- What I'm satisfied with in this drawing? Mostly, the hair and clothing. I like how the hair looks soft and fluffy, and I like the clothing because, for once, I didn't have to go insane about it before understanding what I had to do. It just came naturally. Which is a goodie good feeling!

- The background, as is sadly natural from me, is crappy, but oh whatever. I more-or-less like it because it doesn't make the drawing feel empty, although it's a really cheap gradient and nothing more ^^'
